She had long magenta hair that floated and rippled above her like slow-moving flames. Her eyes where violet with long feathered eyelashes lik moths’ antennae. She wore a long purple hown with matching gloves and a high collar. A gostly cape flowed around her and through the hall like a thick sheet of smoke.

The second installment of Chris Colfer’s enchanting series, “The Land of Stories”, “The Enchantress Returns,” has advanced to the Semi-finals of the 2013 Goodreads Choice Award. If you like fresh fantasy, fairy tales and subtle wit, check out this series! TLOS2 is Colfer’s best book, yet, and shows even more of his potential unveiled. I’m waiting eagerly for the 3rd installment. Also, I do not typically like audiobooks, but the Land of Stories audiobooks, narrated and voiced by Chris Colfer, are truly addicting. Chris does over 65 voices in the first novel and more than 80 in the 2nd novel, all done so very well that you can’t believe it.

If you haven’t yet selected The Enchantress Returns for a 2013 Goodreads Choice Award - it’s not too late!

For anyone who hasn’t heard, this November Chris is going to visit a city in the United States for a special event to sign copies of The Land of Stories, Book Two: The Enchantress Returns. And he could come to a city NEAR YOU.

Fans who visit the TLOS website will have a chance to vote on which city Chris should visit! Two cities/state are listed and you can vote once/day.
